MIA ELISE
When a charter yacht is anchored out, the crew keeps the tenders at the ready for a variety of uses–ferrying guests to/from shore or the beach, to visit other yachts and, of course, tenders are used for enjoying watersports. The largest charter yachts in our fleet have ample deck space allowing tenders to be carried aboard.
Many IYC fleet yachts under 160 ft or so tow a large tender for the convenience of charter guests. The majority of the towed tenders are included in the published charter rate (fuel not included). Most yachts also carry an inflatable tender. The designation painted on a tender hull starts with ”T/T” ( “tender to”) followed by the yacht’s name, ex. T/T MIA ELISE.
The weekly rate of the 128ft MIA ELISE includes the use of a 39ft Buddy Davis sportfish with captain for deep sea fishing (fuel extra). The yacht also carries a 15ft Novurania aboard.

WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL AT ANCHOR STABILIZERS MAKE?
An innovative technology found on a growing number of charter yachts is at anchor stabilization (or “zero speed”). Previously, stabilizers only worked while the yacht was moving through the water.
At anchor stabilizers also work when the yacht is at anchor. They help minimize roll, making your charter more enjoyable. At anchor stabilization has gained increased popularity in the past 4-5 years.

KATHARINE (6 staterooms / 12 guests) hosted not only a charter showing at the 18 June 09 FYBA show but also an excellent lunch party the following day. KATHRINE recently completed a major refit including the installation of at anchor stabilizers, re-decoration of the main salon, etc. She looks “better than new” receiving high marks from visiting brokers. Captain Glynn Smith + 9 crew. A new brochure is in production.
A broker who attended the lunch wrote: ” I LOVED the lunch – everything as fantastic, from the food to the service to the company. Captain Glynn is very personable and Fiona was excellent – she was very knowledgeable and professional when she gave me a tour around the boat yesterday, and even more charming today with the lunch. And Chef James was amazing – the sea bass main course was a wonderful combination of sweet and spicy.”
